Cozy Autumn Silhouette Plates

Service Description

Create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind fall keepsake plate! You’ll design your own autumn shape—pumpkin, ghost, acorn, maple leaf, or your own idea—and hand-build it from a clay slab. Add texture and carved details to make your piece uniquely yours. Templates will also be available for inspiration. How it works: During the first session, you’ll design and build your plate. It will then be kiln-fired at the studio. About four weeks later, you’ll return on October 17th from 1:00-2:30pm to paint your piece with professional underglazes before it receives a food-safe clear glaze. Pickup: Finished pieces will be returned to the café for pickup within two weeks of the glazing session. Please note: While rare, clay pieces can crack or break during firing. If this happens, we’ll work with you to make it right. Community Care Spots: I believe creativity should be accessible to everyone. Each of my workshops includes one fully funded spot for an individual facing financial barriers, with priority given to those who haven’t yet attended a session.
