In this parent-child art afternoon, kids draw their big feelings as monsters, then figure out what those monsters actually need. And here's a key element: you draw yours too. When your kid sees you acknowledging and naming your own overwhelm, something opens up. They learn that emotions aren't shameful. They're human. And you both walk out with a shared experience and possibly language you didn't have before.
