Release tension through mobility work.
Service Description
If you have cranky aches and pains in your back, neck, shoulders or hips, join us for an all levels release. We will lie on the ground, lights low, meditative music playing as we use gentle movements for deep release. We are able to move better from a relaxed foundation, so different techniques will be shared throughout the practice to support stress reduction. For the first 45 mins we will be using specialized soft props and the principals of Critical Alignment Therapy, CAT, to release tension patterns and open tight areas along the spine to find more ease in our movement in the spine and beyond. Through mobility work, a connection to your breath and mindful attention, you can build an awareness of your body that will help create more effective movement patterns, less pain and more freedom. The final 15 minutes of class will be a restorative posture allowing he effects of the practice to sink in through a long held, supported posture. All props provided.
